Signal Hill
Magnificent spot for a sun-downer

If you want to feel like a Cape Town local, head to Signal Hill and stop at the parking lot after the mosque (so not the the actual Signal Hill spot where all the tourists go).
This hill, 300 m high, connecting Kloof Nek to Lion’s Head, in the distinctive shape of a lion’s rump, is one of the best loved sun-downer spots in Cape Town! As the road curls, you will experience rapidly changing views of the harbour, V&A Waterfront, Green Point, Robben Island and Sea Point. You can decide to drive or hike up hill, but do not forget to take some drinks (and some snacks) and a blanket to watch the best views in Cape Town stretched out before you!
